it's a idea about autonaming function in PartsLink

now, there is a function named "AutonamingRule" in Windchill Partslink 11,just like the example below:

this function could standardize the name of part by force, and this is very useful.

so ,i think Windchill should provide a function like this , named as "autoNumber", which mean we could standardize the number of part by force, like below:

when we create a new part , we could use the value of "Internal Name" as the part's number, of couse ,we should add some water code behind it,such as: the value of Internal Name is 010000,so we create a new part though the partslink, the part's number should be 010000001,010000002 and so on

for the improvement of this function， windchill should provide a function that could distract more attributes and apply the value to somewhere,such as : we could distract the value of IBA string "material","code" and combine it and applied the value to a new IBA String "content".

what's the benefit of the function:

1st. windchill could provide a code rule of part by this;

2nd. this function could be a best sale point for partslink, and make more customer buy PartsLink.
