provide better resolution and reports supporting occurrence mode and occurrence expression

Options and Variants is one of the key features nowadays in Windchill. But working with occurences and expressions assignations on occurences might lead to misunderstandings :

Let's start from this situation : 2 parts, each with 2 occurences. Those occurences does not have the same expressions assigned

When configuring the Color filter to "ORG" like here :

We get this result :

The occurence tab displays the right object but the structure tree still displays the second component which is supposed to be filtered out.

Furthermore, if we try to do a multi level BOM report based on this filter, this is what we get :

The right part but the quantity is displayed wrong.

So i suggest that Windchill should give us consistent information when using occurences on options and variants.

@SoretteMichel  - the filtering result in the structure looks like a bug.

The quantity display is how it works today - we do not dynamically calculate the quantity.  When you generate a variant it will show the updated quantity.  In the future we would like to enhance the display to calculate the quantity per filtering dynamically.

Hi @JeffZemsky thanks for the update. The use case here was to get the right quantities without having to generate and manage the variant.
