Add additional search capability to document content search

It would be very helpful if the search capability for document content would allow "or" in the search criteria.

Examples:

I a particular document, I would like to search the text for any content items that contain "Aircraft" OR "Operating".

In a particular document, I would like to display all of the content items where the "Category" field is "Comment" OR where the "Safety" field is set to "Yes".

In a particular document,  I would like to display content items whose id equals 12486 OR 5067 OR 4567.
