Adding equations

Currently equations can only be insert using an embedded excel or visio object. This is mor a work around solution. Directly inserting an equation into a rtf field would be nice.

                I'm moving your request to the Future Consideration bucket. We have a UI Project coming up where we will be upgrading our rich text editor. I think this is a good candidate for that time.

Hello,

We are currently using the RV&S 12.3.1 with the Rich Text Editor. We have equations defined in MS Word with Office version 365.

When we paste equations in the current setup they are imported as picture.

Any plans to implement this idea?

Hello,

             We have done some research on this in the past and are currently working on the editor to bring this feature to the fore. The challenge is interoperability between the integrated editor and other tools like Word since they all don't use the same common standard. I will post to this group as we make progress on this front.
