Checkpoint on the project history view

I request specifications change of the configuration management of Integrity as follows.

[the present specifications]
1.We can update revision for a main line even if we choose any revision displayed by a project history view when we carry out a checkpoint on a project history view when the constitution of the subproject is set for "Normal".
2.We can update revision for a variant even if we choose any revision displayed by a project history view when we carry out a checkpoint on a project history view when the constitution of the subproject is set for "Variant".

[Specifications after the change]
When we carry out a checkpoint on the opened project history view from a project of "Normal" or "Variant" which, we can update revision for the revision that we chose.

[Reason to request]
Because a user has operated it mistakenly with the present specifications.

Create Development Path UI has "Specific Revision" radio-button (selected by default) listing revision value which was selected while launching this action. Based on Idea description - I believe it solves user concern.

Would you please confirm if this is what user is looking for ? If not, could you please provide detailed steps with a screenshot ?
