It would be extremely helpful for debugging and editing richtext, if the underlying HTML code was easier accessible.

 

A "Toggle Text mode" Button could do the trick,

 

Or two or three TABs for the differnet "modes" just like in this Community's Comment Edit View

The new HTML Editor has an option to verify HTML code, please review it and let us know if that fulfills your use case.
