Excel export of items in versioned document should show the "version ID" and not the "internal ID"

Hi,

when I open a versioned document, the requirement IDs of the items are show in the format "[original_ID]-[revision]", e.g:

An Excel export (via menu: Items > Export items to excel) of that item now shows in the ID field the "internal" ID. For each versioned item a new item is created in the database, which has it own ID:

From my point of view the "version ID" 2320-1.1 should be shown in the Excel export as well. The internal ID is not shown at all inside Integrity. Also the Word gateway export gives the version ID. The Excel export is the only place, where the internal ID is shown, which is very confusing.

I discussed this issue with the support (Case C14234171), who said that this is a know limitation, which is described "Integrity Document Versioning Guide" (see section Limitations For Document Versioning), and suggested to post this as an idea in the forum. Well, here it is 😉

The export to excel feature introduced in the Refreshed Web UIs home page will resolve this issue. It will be extended to other areas of the Refreshed Web UI as well.
