Filter Metrics for Integrity Documents

Integrity documents shall list the number of contained (meaningful) items, the number of filtered items (matches) and the number of skipped (filtered off) items in the GUI. This function is intended to show filter results like it is done in DOORS.

Example:

    Items (meaningful): 257 (125) match: 45 skip: 80 (212)

Explanation:

* 257 is the total number of items contained in the document

* 125 is the number of meaningful items contained in the document

* 45 is the number of matches after applying the filter rules

* 80 is the number od unmatched meaningful items

* 212 is the number of unmatched items

Thanks for submitting the idea. Could you please elaborate on what do you mean by meaningful items? Also will it be feasible for you to provide a business use case for this request?

This "meaningful" is a term used by PTC for documents, When you look at the Metrics tab, then you'll find it.

The important data for view is the number of matching / unmatching items after applying filter(s).

Sorry for responding late on this idea and thanks for providing more details. We are not considering implementing this in current Integrity GUI but PTC Integrity R&D is working on revamping current WEB UI to a modern UI and we will try to consider implementing this during our new WEB UI project.
