Give permissions to Document-Templates

Would be great to give permissions to templates. With Document -> Create From Template... templates can be choosen, but there is no possibility to give permissions on this "initial" document type. Users may be able to edit the template, without knowing, this is the template.

Template is like any other Integrity Document. There are many ways using which updating of Template or Any Document Type in integrity can be prevented e.g. providing Item Edit constraints when items are in specific state, Adding a Restricted Document Phase for a Document etc. will this work for you?
