Hide deprecated SysML elements

Hide deprecated SysML elements

It would be very convenient if deprecated SysML elements (e.g. Flow Ports) could optionally be hidden from the user interface so that modelers may not accidently use these elements. Furthermore, automated migration scripts from those deprecated elements to the current representation (as described in Annex C of the SysML specification) would be provided to get rid of those elements in older models.

Hi,

You can use the User Roles capability to hide deprecated items from packages, toolbar buttons and menu items.

Refer to the Help topics on User Roles. For an example where lot of types/buttons are hidden, take a look at

<Enabler_Home>\EnablerATFile\UserRoles\Requirements Viewer.xml

I'll consider the other request for automated scripts, thanks for the suggestion!

regards,

Patrick
