I'd be surprised if this doesn't get a considerable number of votes.
For your information, the reason it doesn't provide a drop-down is because the wizard does not connect to the server until the export process actually starts, so it has no knowledge of what a valid label would be until doing so.
Is there any technical reason why the Gateway is stopping itself from checking quickly whats in the Integrity Document (in terms of existing labels and baselines)?
You may know that my Custom Gateway Add On does exactly this quite nicely.
And, the Custom Gateway also
- saves the target directory (important when you are working with network drives as your home)
- constructs a flexible target file name (configurable, here defined as the object type + the Id + the label (if set))
- allows you to generate PDF directly
- and has a preconfigured list of choices for the configurations that fits to the current item type
