There is PTC Integrity keyboard shortcut for Hyperlink(CTRL+k) similarly we want to configure keyboard shortcut for Insert->item link and "Insert as text" as highlighted below:
There is no plan to implement this feature in the current Swing UI, but am marking this a Future Consideration as we have a UI Replacement Project that we would start soon and we will take this into consideration based on the design that gets finalized.
