Lock should be removed automatically at dropping any source file (currently the lock remains)

Can I set somewhere this rule, or add this policy rule into the global policy section as administrator?

Can we achieve this in any way? Is this achievable at all?
Can I set this in any way, so that it should happen: so when anyone drops a member (with lock), the lock should get automatically released from that dropped member. It makes sense right?

I have got this final reply from PTC Support when opened a ticket:

"Unfortunately your desired outcome is not achievable. There was also an older case where an RFC was rejected as there were no plans to implement this (can't tell why).
The only achievable way will be to do it manually and then drop the member."

Then I have got a suggestion to open an idea in here. So I did. Can you help us with this? Thanks beforehand!

After reading through your expectations, I would like to know if you are looking for a preference which will help you drive the behavior of locks (non-exclusive/exclusive).

@Siddharth Expected out come sounds like "If a locked Member will be dropped, it shall be configurable that -combined with DropMember- a RemoveLock shall be done."

This is from my understanding independent from Lock Type (non-exclusive/exclusive) and their Handling inside of RV&S.
