[Background]
Following the below case:
How to configure Integrity Lifecycle Manager to accept a custom protocol in a hyperlink
https://www.ptc.com/ja/support/article/CS132300?art_lang=en
and by setting windows registry properly, we have succeeded to set integrity (custom) hyperlink inside
Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint , OneNote etc.).
However, even with setting Integrity mksis.im.validURLPrefixes properties and windows registry properly,
integrity hyperlink inside OneNote that is bundled with Windows does not work.
The link is activated but the process "RuntimeBroker.exe", which kicks the link, cannot handle the integrity custom hyper link and reports an error saying: "Sorry, we couldn't open the notes that you were looking for. They may have been moved or deleted, or you may not have permission to open them".
[Supplementary Info]
Info No.1:
With Office bundled OneNote(eg. OneNote 2016) it works fine.
The link is activated and the process ONENOTE.EXE kick the link.
As a result certain Integrity Item Opens up in read-only mode.
Info No.2:
Microsoft is thinking of integrating Office bundled OneNote to Windows bundled OneNote.
So when the Office OneNote support ends up, our customer will have a serious problem
when sharing Integrity hyperlinks.
[Request for Support]
Please support a Use-case: "Users should be able to use integrity hyperlinks in Windows bundled OneNote" .
We cannot provide a certain way to realize this. However, Integrity development team should provide
someway to support the above use-case.
