Provide a possibility to rename a repository

According to https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS242136 it is not possible to rename a repository and there is only a workaround available (copy to new datastore).

It would be good if Modeler provides such functionality to make administration of "organization"-repositories easier, e.g. when department is renamed.

Thanks for the product idea. I think this makes sense, but we are currently constrained by the capabilities of Enabler.

The Enabler documentation states:

"The safest – and only recommended – way to rename a datastore is to first copy it (under a different name) using one of the procedures described in Section 6.12 and then delete the original datastore."

As you may know, we are working on replacing Enabler with SQL Server in the future, so we will consider including this capability then.

It will be possible to rename databases with Integrity Modeler 9.0 and SQL Server - instructions are provided here:

Note that with Integrity Modeler 9.0 and SQL Server, we will be using "databases" instead of the "repositories" with Enabler. They function in the same way essentially: as a container for administering models within a server.
