Following Article CS169198 it is mandatory to restart an ILM Server, if an Agent to monitor it and thus installed in it does not collect data. For an application that -from customer's perspective- should run 24/7 this is a big limitation to track and monitor data.

 

Request is to re-design the integration that way that the agent can be started independent from the Application it is monitoring.
