Every LINUX Kernel that is supported from ILM today is older than 7 Years.
It would be very helpful for Companies that tries to use Federated Server Architecture (FSA) if state-of-the-art Techniques like "BBR" (Bottleneck Bandwidth and RTT) instead of old-fashioned "KUBIC".
Advantage BBR: OS checks Latency of Connection and sends as many data as possible.
Disadvantage KUBIC: If a Packet get's lost, OS reduces amount of data sent over the line.
By default, BBR is more than 10x faster than KUBIC.
BBR can be used with KERNEL 4.9 and higher (released Dec. 2016 , actual version 4.18 since August 2018).
Today's used version inside of Integrity: 2.6, developed since 2004, latest Patch 2.6.39 from May 2011.
