sometimes the preview generation of OLE objects does not work properly; the client sometimes crashes if the preview generation gets stuck

we´d like to have an option that disables the preview generation for OLE objects.
this could be a configuration option (e.g. that file extensions can be specified that won´t get a preview) or a dailog window that comes up when a user tries to do insert Object in a rich text field.
