The tool does not allow to define the order in which variation items (variation points and variants) are presented to the user. The order is automatically generated from the OVM model and may not be altered. It would be helpful if the order could be defined separately (e.g. by an additional attribute in the model). Thus, the variation items could be presented in an order that the user perceives as logical with regard to the structure of the application domain. Additionally, rearranging the variation items would always be possible if new criteria arise.
