In document view, when data volume in a document is huge, we have to scroll vertically, and when number of  columns are large, we have to scroll horizontally. As a result, work efficiency will decline.

 

We want have zoom/pan feature like Microsoft Office by slider control, and Ctrl + mouse-scroll.

 

The following picture shows an example in document view, but not limited to it.

This Idea is related to the UI. PTC Inc is working on a plan to revamp the UI, please watchout for an announcement related to this in the coming weeks.

This is a requirement for users working on high-res displays, and also for users with a limited sight. Even when a new webUI is being developed, I would still like to have this available on the client.

There is no plan to introduce any additional gestures in the Swing Client. As we develop the Refreshed Web UI, additional keyboard access, shortcuts, and alternatives like click on the screen and drag for the page to start scrolling are supported. Please review the refreshed Web UI and confirm if your use case is satisfied.
