enable accessing content of source link/trace fields via the web interface

I just tested it on 10.9:

in the Web interface ther is no way to enter the members or projects content AT ALL for source link or source trace fields.

A behavior similar to the double click in the fat client (that opens either the project view, the member history view or the member content directly) is needed in the web interface

All necessary information to create a valid Hyperlink to the cureently available SI Web interface is available, but for some reason the IM Item view does not use it !

Security should not be an issue, as the ACL handling for the stored members or projects is not affected.

@mrump  I have a query for you.

Are you expecting - user should be able to navigate from IM Item view (in web UI) to SI web UI (directly project view/member history view) using Source Link/ Source Trace available on selected IM item ?

@Siddharth YES that is exactly what I expect.

The Source Link/ Source Trace fields currently makes no sense in the WebUI, as they are just rendered as text and not LINKS (something you click on to get further).

UseCase:

- A Change Request related to a config file that is stored in SI

- A Bug linked to a source code section in a file (using the ability of source links to map to lines in a file)

Currently you can only follow these link s in the fat client.

Additional IDEAS:

- although a READ-ONLY link (to the "/siro" source web client) would suffice for a start, there should be an option to even edit the linked sources in the future

- a PREVIEW of the Link target when hovering over the link would be nice (maybe the SI Web Server could serve as a OSLC provider )

I prefer it, to building something which may not address the issue reported by our users.
