Hi Community, Sharing a very useful and new idea coming into my mind for the moment, Please take a look and feel free to come in comment box to share your views and feedbacks :-   For Admin :- 1) On every Type Admin should be able to configure fields to show in history tab for end user, As of now all fields change comes into the history tab and in some scenarios it makes confusion for end user and makes a very long list for the history page that affect the performance in terms of type loading.   2) Or field relevance rule should also apply to history tab, it means if any field is configured as never relevant on Type it should never come in History and if any field is only relevant to me then it's history should also visible to me only.   For End User :- 1) End user should have a option in History Tab to see history of any specific field rather then searching it throughout tab. E.g. I am a end user going in History Tab of let's say Test Plan and i only want to see the history of a specific field "Test Plan Run Count" then i should have a option to select from list of all visible fields to me on that type and then a pop window should come which shows entire history of only that field including historical value, Modified Date and Modified By. (I know we have a option saying "View Item Details As Of" but this doesn't cover the situation fully and requires more click in terms of easiness for end user)   What you think about this ?   Vielen Dank / Many Thanks, Kapil Jain ... Currently, in a PTC Integrity for document types there is no global search & replace mechanism to search for and replace text. In addition, the search string should be highlighted in color. Hello,   As all we know as Integrity Administrator we should have to see the number of queries created, shared with users/groups. Integrity Client which gives java heap space error when a large number of queries created/shared with users it is due to the 32bit integrity client limitation and Integrity Client does not give any warning message to the user or Integrity Administrator.  As an administrator, it becomes difficult to get query list(Created by, Shared with, Modified by, Last accessed by) in one click. So it will be beneficial to have a query dashboard for Administrator & warning message to the user if the user consuming more client memory.   Thanks, Sandeep  ... View more

We recently upgrade from Integrity 10.7 to Windchill RV&S (Integrity) 12.3. The inline rich content editor in document view is nice, but it can be very annoying sometimes. When the column for a rich content text field is narrow, it really blocks a lot of the real content. Plus, when you highlight a word (double click on it), another rich content editor toolbar shows up! There should be an option to disable the inline editor toolbar (and we can customize the viewset to show the editor options at top, not inside the table cell). ... View more

When using issueDelta bean in trigger and performing any edit operation it skips or surpass all editability rule, constraints, visibility restrictions, if item is in end state etc. and perform the edit operation successfully.   But when we do edit operation using API commands then we have to take care about everything otherwise edit operation might not be successful.  - Editability Rule  - Constraints  - Mandatory fields are unspecified and your group is not authorized to modify those fields.  - Project/type visibility restrictions  - Not in end state.   There should be one permission something like (Anonymous User or Anonymous Login) which we (Administrator) can give to any specific user (IntegrityAdmin mostly) or entire Administrator group based on organizational need. But once given then during API edit operation as well (if perform with the user having permission) it will skip or surpass everything and works like delta.   (PS:Sometimes we have conditions we can't go with delta and have to perform edit operation using API's )   Looking forward to hear from you, learn any technical dependency or workaround etc. Vielen Dank / Many Thanks, K. Hi Community, The needed of using environment variables (ex. JAVA_HOME) which are not the same on the users machine as you know, it imposes on us the possibility to use variables. If a user is inputting data into different text fields of an item, pressing the TAB key should move to the next visible field and allow them to input data.  Currently, the TAB key may move to the next field but it only highlights it rather than allowing the user to input data into it.   This feature is compared to how it functions within excel. ... We have received several complaints from the users about the same alerts being presented to users each time an item Web/GUI Link is clicked and are forced to manually dismiss them each time. Lets take a single session wherein user open multiple links and same alert gets presented for each window.    Suggestions are to add a "Do not show again" checkbox. Ticking that should suppress that particular alert for the user, next time you navigate to Integrity.     ... View more

When a user tries to connect via the WEB interface to the Integrity Application and inserts the Address as http://<integrity_server_hostname>:port/im the request is not automatically forwarded to the HTTPS address: https://<integrity_server_hostname>:port/im This is a basic functionality that is generally implemented by any website and should be also implemented for Accessing the PTC Integrity Web Interface.   At this point there is a random Webpage opened that doesn't even represent an Error message nor does it give you the possibility to access the correct link (see Attachment). ... Regarding the airwortheness norms, our teams strongly need to generate complex traceability matrices by using a quick and easy method. PTC Integrity propose relationships views that allow to follow traces but the format is not a matrice. Due to the fact that those traceability matrices shall be delivered to our customers, we strongly need to have an Integrity functionnality that allow to generate traceability matrices from a document view where all requested fields are displayed including the Relationships like Decomposed From, Satisfied By, etc... and their information.   ... Dear All,   we figured out an inconsistency within the Attachments tab in different item types. For the field "Member Link" no "+" button is in place like it is for the field "Attachments" to add elements (see screenshot). This is valid up to Version 12.3. The section number of document contents can be exported to an Excel import template using the add-in.  This feature was delivered in a previous version, but it seems it only happens on the first synchronize.  If contents were rearranged, deleted, or created in the live document, then synchronizing should recognize that and update section numbers to match. It would be great if it would correspondingly rearrange the rows as well. Content which is created from the sheet should also show its new section number, each being one more than the last section by default. ... View more

In one of our item types the state’s pick list value "ALM_Started" the order is not correct. Currently it is ALM_Prepared, ALM_Started, ALM_Implemented, however we would expect ALM_Started, ALM_Prepared, ALM_Implemented. The order of the states in the pick list is dependent of the position of the state. Can the position of the state "ALM_Prepared" be changed (move below ALM_Started) without impacting other State pick lists.                                     The pick list is not sorted alphabetically, it is arranged by order. The order never changes for the pick field depending on the current state of the item. We would prefer to sort the picklist order displayed depending up on the current state of the Item. ... View more
