if a company has more than one employee with the job to develop the data model or the configuration of admin-objects in Workflows & Documents sooner or later they will see, that there are some problems if they want to work at the same object at the same time. To avoid these problems it will help to have an own development system for each developer, and a migration (and merging) system into a, lets say, integration system. Thats all possible yet (except a completely functional migration/merging system), but every system is using a whole, expensive server license.
The most other major companies are providing development systems at nearly no cost for the customer. Look at Oracle or IBM or...
I've talked a lot about this with the PTC sales people about this in the last years, and they always answer somehing like "yeah, we will give this idea to our product management" and after this, nearly everyone seems to get a partial amnesia
So i would like to see some cheap or costfree development licenses, or even better, a new development system with a migration and merging tool.
