Currently the nice Client Link URL feature is lacking the support for "runchart".

Funny enough "runreport" or "rundashboard" are implemented, so leaving out charts make no sense IMHO.

 

A possible use case would be to have an according url generated in a shortext fields and visible in an IPT (e.g. Work Item, or Product).

Doing so would make it very easy and comfortable to view a "field value trand chart" based on an metric (e.g. Open Defects Count"), for an individual item.

 

Currently this is only possible by leaving the Fat Client context and showing the chart in the web ui.
