How can I show 'state' in view type 'summary' of view project history?

This isn't currently possible from the Graphical view (Open Project History, then go to menu --> View --> Graphical) of a project's history.  As a workaround, it is possible from the List view (Open Project History, then go to menu --> View --> List), then right clicking on the column headings, and selecting context menu --> Configure Columns..., and adding State to the Visible columns, then clicking OK.

I'm interpreting this Idea as a request to add that same functionality to the Graphical view.

I would like to have a much more configurable "show beside each node" for member AND project history.

State, Author, Date, Description - all elements that are shown in the "Show Details" should be selectable for "show beside each node" for a better overview.

Your interpreting this idea is right. (add that same functionality to the Graphical view)

In the List view, it is very difficult to find that a revision is where it is from, or what is a revision that I want to find ....

In the Graphical view as well, you are able to see State as you have highlighted in the image (After selecting a specific revision, the details are shown on the right side).
