Can you run ProePublish from the Adapter setup folder? Creo should launch if the setup is right.

Did you set the user in Auth.properties?

Did you set the mworker.exe.whitelist.prefixes?

If you start the proeworker batch file on the server and then start the publisher, will that publish a file?

Hi, I didn't have adapter set up before but was working fine since Creo is also installed in the same machine.

I dont have any of the files you mentioned above, except for Auth.properties, which I did create since the background method server was throwing an exception

definitely look up errors from the log file in the ptc support portal. lots of good information on how to diagnose in their KB; the worker daemon service, the creo license, the status of the worker in windchill. since your file transfer was successful, its probably not a communications issue (ip addresses in the hosts file). definitely check the status of the worker(s) from the site admin page in windchill to make sure they are online.

are you connecting to a single CAD worker machine with a single CAD worker instance or multiple CAD worker machines with multiple CAD worker instances?

Hi, Thank you, This is a server that was working few days ago and its a sandbox, I didn't have a CAD worker of PROE type set up earlier, but this was working fine since the Creo was installed on the same server. If you have Creo with a valid license, it does not require a CAD Worker agent to be set up in windchill.

Hi @MS_10006502

If you want to create visualization on the server then the CAD Worker needs to be set up in Windchill.

On other hand if you generate the visualization on the local machine then you do not need the worker.

Could you share a screenshot your worker agent administration? Obviously you should obfuscate host names

My worker agent administration does not have any agents set up

@MS_10006502

That is the reason why the log said that there is not available worker.

PetrH

You need to create a worker to do any publishing. Without any agents to connect to an existing worker, nothing will publish

Hi @jbailey

Don't forget that publish job can be done on a the designer's local Creo during save operation.

PetrH

It can, however this specific error is due to a worker agent not being found for PROE

Hi @MS_10006502
