All:
We are pleased to announce today the availability of the Windchill Configuration Assistant (WCA).
From the documentation:
The Windchill Configuration Assistant (WCA) examines system resource information
for the server on which Windchill is installed and then calculates
recommended values for Windchill properties to take maximum advantage of
available memory and CPU resources. Additionally, if your Windchill environment
includes Apache and Tomcat, the Windchill Configuration Assistant can
recommend configuration changes for your Web server and servlet engine.
You can find out more about Windchill Performance, including pointers to download
the WCA software at Windchill Performance Tuning & Validation.
As with any production change you should first test new configuration parameters
in your test/QA environment (the lawyers didn't make me say that, it's just a good idea 🙂
Going to PTC/User? Learn more about WCA and related topics from the experts
in the Windchill track:
