Access permission for folders in a product container

I am working with Windchill 10.2 currently and the question has come up about folder permissions. What we would like to do is create a top level product container and create folders for various groups within that container. These groups are to be kept separate from each other, meaning each group will have access to their own folder but not have access to the other folders in the container.

With that being said, can we control the permissions at the folder level or will we need to create a separate container for each group?

Thank you in advance for your time and have a good one.

Hi Clipper Captian,

Any success with the request made in your below post?

Curious to hear back on the outcome...!!!

I believe the only way to control individual folder permissions is to create a separate domain for each.

However, you might just want to create a separate context for each instead of the separate domain path.
