Administration of a Windchill Server

Hi Guys,

A year or so ago someone posted a detailed list of duties of a Windchill
Admin.

It listed out daily, weekly & monthly logs/tasks that an admin monitor
and take action on.

When I get home tonight I'll search some old email archives that I have
but was wondering if anyone has something similar that they follow and
could share.

My need is to express to IT here how different Windchill is going to
administer and maintain compared to Intralink 3.4 which rarely needs any
action on their part.

Thanks in advance,

Best to not let IT touch Windchill... 🙂

I resent that remark

There is a document that might be helpful on the PTC site:

Link to that document for Windchill 10:

Careful Mike, when the server crashes IT are nice folks to have around. : )

Most of the time I’m guessing they would prefer to steer clear of the day-to-day Windchill-o-mania.

The first post has a nice spreadsheet attached. Not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for, but it looks pretty good.

Looks like the original conversation kinda died on the vine.Maybe we can pick it back up again? I am not sure I have much to contribute, but would love to see what others have to say....
