Aliased Attribute Definition Help

I'm not sure if this question went out to the exploder the first time I tried so I apologize if this is a repeat.

A Windchill 10.0 question here...

I want to create an aliased attribute on an EPMDocument that retrieves the value of the revision attribute on the associated WTPart. Does anyone have experience with aliased attributes and defining the proper *Mapping property? Here is an example from the help:

Alias Attribute Mapping
Alias attributes map to an attribute on a related object for their value. The mapping to the other attribute is specified in the Mapping property.

For example, assume that you had created an attribute named Color on the Part Master type, and you wanted that Color attribute value to display as the value of an alias attribute on the Part type which is related to the Part Master type by the masterReference reference attribute. Specify the Mapping property value as follows:

masterReference^wt.part.WTPartMaster~color

Alternatively, assume that you want an alias attribute value on a Part type to display the Description attribute value of a Document whose Title attribute value matches the Name attribute value of the Part. Specify the Mapping property value as follows:

name=title@wt.doc.WTDocument~description
