I'm starting to really hate this new Solr setup procedure. I'm trying to follow the guide and am doing the Configure Basic Authentication for Solr (Standalone Mode). I follow the directions. It generates my CRYPT password and then it will not let me restart Solr. I used the same user name and password as I did to install Solr.

Verify jetty.xml file whether it is pointing to correct jetty.home path or not.
This should be the property which you need to verify
