Anyone know what the Indexing Status Queue does?

I am not familiar with this queue.

Indexing queue is used by Windchill to create search indexes.



You could disable it if you are not using FAST or other 3rd party indexing
tools. This should not have any effect on the system.

Tony,

This queue is used for Bulk Indexing. There's a bug where a new entry is
created for each MS that starts (e.g., if you have 3 MSs, you'll see 3 new
entries every time you restart Windchill). Unless you are Bulk Indexing,
you can disable this queue. If you are Bulk Indexing, you can clear all but
one entry from the queue.
