Aphelion Password Expiration Policy

Hello.

I need to set Password Expiration to 90 days.

The Aphelion document provided by PTC is pretty dense. Has anyone documented how to turn on password expiration with the PTC provided Aphelion?

I may have to eventually tie the system to the Corporate AD but we would rather keep engineering on its own and still meet our requirements for password reset.

Hi Brian,

You can use Aphelion Web Tools to configure your password policies (including password expiration) but there is no way to manage it. I mean, there is no OOTB utility to notify a user if his password is near to its expiration or if it has expired already.

We made a customization for using mail messages for notifying the users, but the best way to get it and mantain it properly is using a corporate LDAP such as AD or any other that implements a better policy management than Aphelion.
