Attribute Populated Values

Hello;

New Document Wizard.

Is it possible to Populate an Attribute "Option"(Operational or Functional)

Select Operational

Have Next Attribute "Option Type" then populate with list of Valid Selections.

If

You Select Functional

It would be a different list.

I could make soft types but the above is a simple example; In production I would have approximately 10 soft types with only difference being selection screen (different ENUM Constraint)

As I am told by PTC PM this capability is planned but not yet available. 10.2 is supposed to have dependent attributes.

hi,

I have this working with a custom datautility plus some javascript.
advantage: fully operational 😉
disadvantage: needs defininition of the dependencies in a javascript array.

This is great news, I hope they extend this to EPMDocument too
