We have Windchill with 'Weight' attribute (type 'Real Number') and Pro/INTRALINK server with attribute 'Weight' (type 'String'). There are Pro/ENGINEER native files in Pro/INTRALINK with designated paramter 'Weight'.
While migration 'Weight' attribute(Pro/I) cannot be mapped to 'Weight' attribute in Windchill. Therefore, we have renamed it to 'Weight1' during migration. However, while check in data back to Windchill, Pro/ENGINEER parameter 'Weight' (String) gets mapped to Windchill attribute ‘Weight’ (Real Number) and prompts error while checkin, "Unable to upload CAD documents with error "Parameter "WEIGHT" of type "String" could not be uploaded to the server due to inconsistent type with Windchill parameter type "Real Number"".
Any suggestion on this issue will be very helpful.
