BOM Balloons and Find Number

I am curious how some of you are reconciling the BOM Balloon numbers and
the Find Number in the wtpart structure in PDMLink.

We are considering moving away from a BOM on the face of the drawing and
using the wtpart BOM in PDMLink.

Seems like I cannot find a way to pass on this data. May have to hand
type in the Find number.
