Backup in Windchill
Hi all,
I have some clarification regarding backup in windchill.
1. Does the system create back-up for each - revision?
2. Will the back-ups be compressed?, up - to how many percent compressed?
Thank you all and god bless!

Windchill doesn't do backups. Assuming your using a file vault, everything that exists in the system exists in the vault uncompressed. If you delete an object and then purge unreferenced files, it's simply deleted (or moved to the .unreferenced folder). Nothing is backed up.

Like Tom said, Windchill doesn't back anything up itself. If you're looking to implement backups for your system, then take a look at the Windchill Backup and Recovery Planning Technical Brief.
