We will like to test the maturity of Zero Client VM desktop application to meet the needs of fully utilizing a multi-core server to be effectively manage multiple VM CAD users.
What are your thoughts. We already tested thin clients with is 1 terminal client per physical workstation which work great on LAN but has issues on WAN. We thought it was waste since the other cores of the CPUs on that server was not being used. ProE is single core. All graphics are now done within the CPUs and not performed in the GPUs. Since the PC3 memory integration with the CPUs, there is no latency with the board. We will also use solid state drives on our SAN device.
