Version: Windchill 11.0
Use Case: I want to know if I can edit the CAD attribute on the structure page.
Description:
Hello all,
I am a new user of the Windchill.
I have a question.
Can I edit the CAD attribute on the structure page?
Like the screenshot below. the red is material and the orange is drawing no.
Those two are the attributes of the CAD file.
I can edit in the Creo.
But I don't know if I can edit on the structure page.
Thank you.
David

Hello @VladimirN ,
Thanks for reply.
So it mean if I don't check out this part or ASM, I can't edit this object attribute?
If I want to edit maybe 50 parts attributes, I need to check out these 50 parts. right?
Is there any better way to do that?
Thank you.
Hi,
Not in the "Structure tab".
If those attributes belong to the CAD to CAD usage link, then its possible to edit it in the right side sub tab called "USES". (Eg: QTY, Ref Designator).
If those attributes belong to the CAD object itself, then you need to go to the CAD object page.
Cheers
Hari
Hello @Hari_Vara ,
So you mean if those attributes are in the CAD file, I need to edit those attributes in the CAD object page.
If those attributes are in the part object or usage link, I can edit those attributes in the Structure tab.
Is that right?
Or can you show me the screenshot?
Thank you.
David
