I just started as a CAD Admin at my company. I have a family table and drawing that was originally released as a - (dash) revision. The files/drawing were then revised with a revision of F in the In Work state. However, the customer print wants it at an E rev. Is there a way to go into Windchill and reassign them to the E rev?? When I go to Revise/Select Revision, I'm unable to choose a letter lower than G (coming from F). If I select enter, and put E in there, I'll get an error saying it's not greater than the existing revision value F.
If there isn't an easy procedure that I'm missing, what would be the workaround other than deleting the files, re-uploading them and setting the correct revision?? Obviously that is not ideal.
Solved! Go to Solution.
In general, the only way to address this is:
- save outside Windchill (e.g. from Creo, File, Save As, Backup)
- delete the Rev F objects from Windchill
- Revise again from the last remaining Revision and select E
Note that any where-used info will be deleted.

Thanks. I figured deleting was the way to go. Just need that confirmation.
Database edit is another options but not advisable.
