Use Case: when a new subtype of Change Activity is created and when we select the "Assignment Method" as Multiple participants then in the CA creation page the entire context team appears instead of Assignee and Reviewer. How to get only the assignee and reviewer role ?

Hi @AP_10483126,
The participant list is an accumulation of all resource pools defined across all workflow task roles within the workflow template.
It is necessary to define the resource pools for both the Assignee and Reviewer roles within the change task workflow.
This is how it looks for me when in enable(above screenshot).
But PTC shows this when enabled. How can i get just these two roles
Hi @AP_10483126,
Update the Assignment Method value on the change task to Assignee and Reviewer Roles Only under Type and Attribute Management.
yes that what i have done and that is the above screenshot.
However, in your initial post, you mentioned that the assignment method was set to Multiple Participants.
If you want only an Assignee and a Reviewer, you should select the assignment method as Assignee and Reviewer Roles.
When Assignee and Reviewer Roles is selected, the creation page will appear as shown below.
I want to set to Multiple Participants. and then i want the participants tab with only assignee and reviewer role as mentioned by ptc in this article.
You need to set up a Team Template that includes only the Assignee and Reviewer roles.
Then, assign this team template in the OIR associated with the Custom Change Task.
Tried this this is not working.
The screenshot you are referring to from the Help Center appears to be from an older version.
In the newer versions, the interface no longer looks the same.
you mean the help center ?
Hi @AP_10483126,
I was able to implement this by following the Help Center steps
Resource pools in the object workflow template can be leveraged to configure the list of participants. The participant list is an accumulation of all resource pools defined across all workflow task roles within the workflow template. Groups are listed under the workflow role that they are assigned in the resource pool and teams display participants within the roles of the team. To configure groups for assignee and reviewer roles, complete the following steps.
I followed the Help Center steps below to preselect the roles on the creation page.
Additionally, pre-selection of workflow task roles can be configured using the resource pool defined for the workflow task role and the object team defined using object initialization rules. In order for participant roles to be pre-selected, the object team must have matching roles defined in both the workflow task and the participant list. In the following example the object team has both Assignee and Reviewer roles defined.
Hi Please see below i have added the following in the OIR. But still i am not able to get just the two roles?
What is that i am missing ?

Hi @AP_10483126,

It Works now. thanks !
The resource pool must be configured at the activity level for the respective roles.
