Child Part Master Reference

During checkin I receive the following error message:

The value of "Child Part Master Reference" cannot be set to null, since it is a "required" attribute.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause of this error message?

This looks like the same issue from SPR 2156674. Take a look at article CS103277 which gives some information on the issue.

As the article mentions, the issue is caused by corrupt entries in the DeletedBuildReference table. You should open a case with PTC Tech Support to get a healing script or patch.
