So I've created an Info*Engine task that given a part number will return a Query-Tree. I've included for attributes name, number, state, version, quantity and line number. I also added the return parameter that lists all of the attributes.
If I run the task using the servlet/IE/tasks/com/.../myTestBom.xml it returns XML output that includes all of the attributes. (Yeah me)
I then created the Task Delegate, updated the third party report model. The task appears in Cognos, i drag it to an empty report, run it, supply it a part number and it returns all the columns except the quantity and line number which do appear in the servlet output.
I've attached the task that I'm using, this is just a learning project for me right now, so the task is probably not the best way to do it, but that's a seperate discussun...
