Comments and annotations in change request ?

Using OOTB change request / change notice functionality, is it possible to automatically pass the comments and annotations added during the change request to a change task ? When creating the change notice, we are checking off the "Propagate Information from the change request" check box. It seems kind of redundant when creating a change task to manually have to copy the comments and recreate the annotation links. Ideally we would like the person receiving the change task to not have to hunt all around to see markups and comments created at the change request.

Any any ideas or suggestions.

Here is one response I recieved:

I don’t have a 9.0 system I can look at right now, but does enabling the Automatic CN Creation &/or the Change Info Propagation preference(s) do this for you? If not, you’d could either look to extract the data from the other object, or the approach I would first look at would be to have the workflows pass variables for you

Note: I did try enabling auto CN and the change info propagate, neither of these will pass the comments along. I have not looked into using the workflows to pass the variables.
