I amtrying to roll out some of the default Cognos Reports and have run into a bit of a wall, repeatedly and at high speed.
Whenever I launch a Cognos report, I am asked to authenticate twice. The first request requires our admin account, and the second request is authenticated against our LDAP. The second request I more or less understand, and since it requires the users Windchill login information I don't think it will bother the users.
But where is the first request coming from, and how do I either make it go away, or pass it to Cognos in some sort of hidden fashion (I don't really want to give our admin account outto all of our users)?
Unfortunately I am working at a bit of a disadvantage since I wasn't the one whoinstalled Cognos.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
