Connection to the server is unavailable when using Creo

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.2.0

Creo is opening fine and it shows me the Windchill commonspace and the workspace folders, but when one of the folders is selected we get an error message message saying the server is currently unavailable do you want to switch to offline mode?

We have restarted the server.

Here are the errors that I faced
Attention - Connection to the server is unavailable.

FYI, it was a case of expired Licences, although as one set of licences hadn’t expired the Windchill System was still functional.

Albeit the licence group the user was assigned to had expired.

Article - "Windchill Workgroup Manager 11.0 cannot be brought back online if it is previously shutdown while in an offline state due to a network or server issue": https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs243906

Hi, thanks for you prompt response. I may be being a bit naive here but I can't locate the Windchill Workgroup Manager?

Thanks

Let us know a bit more about your setup. You are using Creo 10 but what version of Windchill are you connecting to?  I want to eliminate any version incompatibility. Did this just start happening and are others seeing it?  You should get a login prompt or some authentication step either when you open or when you try to access Windchill.  You are saying that you see the folders showing which should mean you did authenticate. What does Server Manager say? (File - Manage Session - Server management)

You can try switching to no server and then back again.

This article could point to local cache corruption. You might have to delete the local cache and recreate connection. If you have locally modified work, you want to ensure that gets backed up.
