Default Units for quantity

Default Units for quantity

After following PTC's process for adding several custom units of measure (UOM) for quantity to the wt.part.QuantityUnitRB , we have found that the defaultValue key is ignored. We want the default value set to true for 'each' - which is the default value out of the box. However, we have one UOM that is only two letters in length, and the system is making that the default value, regardless of the setting for the defaultValue key.

Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, do you have a solution you can share?

PTC is currently investigating the issue.

Thanks in advance

run enumCustomize

browse to wt.part.QunantityUnitRB, see if you can switch Default Vaule from UI.

if it doesn't work, check Windchill\wtCustom\wt\part\QuantityUnitRB.rbInfo

you could have defaultValue=true set by accident.

rebuilt resourcebundle after update

ResourceBuild wt.part
