Deleting a rejected article

Hello,

I want to know is there any solution for how to delete an article which has been promoted but then it got rejected, and for some reason I want to delete that article, but when I try to delete it gives an error that this article is related to a promotion, but the promotion is rejected. So how do I delete the article now.

Delete the promotion request first, then delete the document.
