In the Related tab of a WTPart, what's the difference between Described by Documents and References Documents?  Can you give an example of each?

In addition to what Marco said, here is an example from our use cases.

Part 12345  VER 2.4

Described By:

  • First Article Inspection Report
    • This document is an inspection report that changes with each version.
    • The document is specific to this part and this version

References:

  • Finish Specification
    • This document specifies the finish to be applied to the part.
    • The document applies to many parts.
    • The document is not specific to a specific version.

Simply click at the question marks in the related tab.
