we have the requirement to export Pro/E Data from an 8.0 PDMLink database and import it back to 9.0.
Did anybody use the import/export functions in PDMlink, or other tools to do that??
What alternatives are possible and what kinds of problems do we have to face.
To give you some more details: we have roughly 1.6 millon objects in about 10 different contexts that need to be migrated. It might be less if we decide to take just the latest version/iteration of the objects.
The business configuration is not a problem, the attributes will be the same and the object are coming back in their own contexts again!
